Флагманская модель HMX-H106 — первый в мире (по состоянию на 5 января 2009 г.) камкодер, в котором применен встроенный твердотельный накопитель объемом 64ГБ. Модели HMX-H105 и HMX-H104 оснащены SSD накопителями 32Гб и 16Гб соответственно, однако объем памяти, как и у модели HMX-H106, может быть расширен за счет карт SD/SDHC. <br /><br />В новых камкодерах этой серии для компрессии используется кодек H.264, что существенно увеличивает время записи. При съемке в режиме fine в разрешении HD можно записать до трех часов видео на 16Гб накопитель модели H104, до шести часов на 32Гб HMXH105 и до двенадцати часов на 64Гб HMX-H106. <br /><br />В камкодерах серии Н используется оптика Schneider. Объектив Schneider Kreuznach Varioplan HD имеет 10х оптический зум. Широкоугольный объектив Schneider с фокусным расстоянием 37мм дает моделям серии Н ряд преимуществ перед другими камкодерами, в которых используются объективы с фокусным расстоянием 40—50мм. Благодаря широкоугольной оптике границы кадра расширяются, что делает съемку разных сюжетов (например, больших групп людей, пейзажей, спортивных матчей) более удобной. <br /><br />Все камкодеры этой серии оснащены 2,2 Мпикс 1/4.5? CMOS-матрицей, они могут напрямую подключаться к телевизору с помощью стандартного HDMI кабеля без использования док-станций или переходников. Помимо записи видео высокого разрешения, камкодеры работают и в режиме фото, позволяя делать снимки с разрешением 4,7 Мпикс. Кроме того, модели серии Н имеют функцию замедленной съемки в HD-разрешении. В этом режиме пользователь может выбрать задержку изображения — 1, 3, 5, 10, 15 или 30 секунд. <br /><br />SSD камкодеры серии H поступят в продажу в конце апреля 2009 года по следующим ориентировочным розничным ценам: Н106 — 29 990 рублей, Н105 — 24 990 рублей, Н104 — 21 990 рублей. <br />
