Компания Dell начала продажи широкоформатного жидкокристаллического монитора SX2210 с диагональю 21,5 дюйма.

В устройстве реализована фирменная технология Dell TrueLife, которая, по утверждениям разработчиков, обеспечивает глубокий черный цвет и высокую точность передачи оттенков. Значение динамической контрастности достигает 50000:1, яркость составляет 300 кд/м2. Углы обзора по вертикали и горизонтали равны 160 и 170 градусам соответственно. Время отклика матрицы — 2 мс (при переключении между оттенками серого).

Монитор SX2210 поддерживает разрешение 1920х1080 точек (формат Full HD) и имеет встроенную 2-мегапиксельную веб-камеру. В комплект поставки входит специализированное программное обеспечение для распознавания лиц: благодаря этому компьютер сможет "узнавать" пользователя при доступе к защищенным сайтам, сетевым ресурсам, требующим ввода пароля, и пр.

Новинка оборудована двумя микрофонами для качественной передачи звука и четырьмя портами USB для периферийных устройств. Подключение монитора к ПК может осуществляться посредством интерфейса HDMI, через аналоговый разъем D-Sub или порт DVI-D. Размеры устройства — 383х530х180 мм, вес — 4,5 кг (вместе с подставкой).
