Сегодня компания Fujitsu Siemens Computers перешла в полную собственность корпорации Fujitsu Limited и была переименована в Fujitsu Technology Solutions (Holding) B.V.

"Исследовательский потенциал и перспектива глобализации, которые несет с собой Fujitsu Technology Solutions, позволят преобразовать принципы ведения бизнеса Fujitsu. Начав поставки новой продукции, мы сможем "мыслить глобально" и в то же время "действовать локально", что отвечает потребностям наших заказчиков. Интеграция Fujitsu Technology Solutions позволит Fujitsu Group предлагать комплексные продукты и решения во всем мире", - заявил Куниаки Нозое, президент Fujitsu Limited.

Этот шаг был сделан в рамках планов компании по расширению бизнеса Fujitsu на рынке серверов. Напомним, что движение в эту сторону началось еще раньше: к примеру, в 2007 году корпорация уже продала 240 тыс. серверов с архитектурой Intel. Новая задача - к 2010 году удвоить объем продаж таких систем и довести его до 500 тыс. штук.
