Главный исполнительный директор Asustek Джерри Шен (Jerry Shen) дал интервью британскому изданию TechRadar, в котором рассказал об амбициозных планах компании на 2009 г. <br /><br />Например, Asustek разрабатывает системы голосового управления компьютером. В компании даже есть специальная группа, которая исследует возможности распознавания речи. По словам Джерри Шена, распознавать жесты на сенсорном экране гораздо проще, чем голос человека, да еще и говорящего на разных языках. Сотрудники компании работают с поставщиками технологий по распознаванию речи в Японии и США. Продукты с распознаванием голоса будут выпущены под брендами Eee PC и Eee Top. Они будут готовы во II половине 2009 г., заявил Шен. Их стоимость пока неизвестна. Идея о персональном компьютере, который бы не имел клавиатуры, а управлялся голосом, обсуждалась на выставке CeBIT, прошедшей в начале 2009 г. в Ганновере. <br /><br />Помимо таких компьютеров, до конца 2009 г. вендор планирует выпустить две другие новинки – клавиатуру со встроенным компьютером и ноутбук со скользящей клавиатурой. <br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2009-04/1238661827_asus_eee_keyb.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Asustek раскрывает планы на будущие продукты' title='Asustek раскрывает планы на будущие продукты' /></div><br /><br />Клавиатура со встроенным компьютером Eee Keyboard напоминает ПК семейства Sinclair – у них не было системного блока, все компоненты помещались в один корпус с клавиатурой. При помощи этого устройства, благодаря интегрированному модулю Wi-Fi, можно будет выходить в интернет, подключившись к внешнему дисплею (монитору или телевизору) при помощи кабеля или по беспроводной связи. Новинка была представлена на выставке Consumer Electronics Show в Лас-Вегасе в январе 2009 г. Технические характеристики: широко используемый в нетбуках процессор Intel Atom N270 1,6 ГГц, 1 ГБ оперативной памяти, 16 или 32 ГБ на SSD-накопитель, 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, Windows XP Home. <br /><br />Eee Keyboard обещает стать мультимедийной системой – его даже планируется оснастить HDMI. Помимо этого, он будет оборудован 5-дюймовым сенсорным ЖК-дисплеем. Клавиатуры с сенсорными экранами выпускались и раньше, поэтому продукт не является уникальным. Особенность в том, что Asus планирует поставить его на массовое производство. Предполагаемая начальная стоимость ПК составит $400. Таким образом клавиатура принимает угол, под которым с ней удобнее работать, чем если бы она находилась в горизонтальном положении. Стоимость новинки, которая получила название Airo, составит в районе $1-1,5 тыс. По мнению Шена, новинка может привлечь такое же внимание, как, например, MacBook Air. Во всяком случае именно на это рассчитывает производитель. <br /><br />Наконец, на CeBIT был представлен еще один концепт – компьютер-книжка с двумя сенсорными экранами внутри. По словам CEO компании, продажи такого устройства если и начнутся, то не в этом году.
