Первые две будут поставляться с внешним ТВ-тюнером, в последних двух тюнер будет находиться внутри телевизора, сообщает CrunchGear. Это последние новинки за 12-летнюю историю производства плазменных телевизоров Pioneer. <br /><br />Все новые модели будут способны отображать Full HD-разрешение и иметь по четыре разъема стандарта HDMI для подключения источников сигнала высокой четкости. Помимо HDMI будут предусмотрены порты USB и D4 (последний актуален для местного рынка). Устройства поступят в продажу в Японии 1 апреля 2009 г. Вряд ли они появятся в продаже в других странах – партии будут ограниченными, всего 3 тыс. экземпляров в сумме. <br /><br />В дополнении к анонсу в компании рассказали, что c мая 2009 г. плазменные телевизоры больше выпускаться не будут. Ранее сообщалось, что компания Pioneer намерена полностью выйти из бизнеса по производству плоских телевизоров к марту будущего года.<br /><br />Сервис по ремонту устройств в Японии продолжит действовать в течение следующих 8 лет до 2017 г. Про другие страны не сообщается. С сентября 2007 г. после запуска бренда Kuro компания продала 2,8 млн плазменных телевизоров Kuro в мире, из которых 300 тыс. – в Японии. <br />
