Sony временно прекратит поставки PS3 в Южную Корею

Sony временно приостановила поставки PlayStation 3 в Южную Корею, сообщает Kotaku со ссылкой на корейский новостной сайт Chosun Online. Компания теряет прибыль на консолях из-за японских покупателей, которые предпочитают приобретать консоль не у себя на родине, а находясь с деловым визитом или на отдыхе в Южной Корее, так как здесь ее цена ниже примерно на $90.

Стоимость консоли в Корее составляет около $324, в Японии – $416. Покупателей не останавливает даже необходимость в приобретении трансформатора, чтобы консоль, купленную в соседнем государстве, где напряжение сети составляет 220 В, можно было подключить к электрической розетке в Японии с напряжением 100 В.

«Наши консоли, ввезенные в Корею, прямо-таки утекают в Японию. Это стало для нас настоящей проблемой», - жалуется один из сотрудников корпорации. Тем не менее, вряд ли японцы откажутся от столь заманчивой схемы, поэтому неизвестно, что дальше собирается делать Sony, комментирует SlashGear. В настоящее время в Южной Корее продается только одна версия приставки – с жестким диском на 80 ГБ. Она поступила в продажу в июне 2007 г.
