<br />Ученые из Университета Токио совместно с инженерами из компании Hitachi разработали видеосистему, позволяющую снимать, транслировать и воспроизводить видеосигнал в стереоскопическом виде в режиме реального времени, сообщает Physorg. <br /><br />Трехмерная телевизионная система под названием TransCAIP состоит из трех частей – снимающей установки, персонального компьютера и дисплея. Снимающая установка насчитывает 64 видеокамеры, расположенные в двумерной сетке. Каждая камера соединена с персональным компьютером через LAN-кабель и имеет встроенный HTTP-сервер, который последовательно посылает снимки в формате JPEG. Принцип аналогичен интегральной фотографии и заключается в следующем. Каждая камера формирует изображение под своим собственным углом зрения. Зритель, перемещаясь относительно экрана, попадает в угол зрения той или иной камеры и каждый раз видит сцену с одной из 60 вероятных позиций (число 60 соответствует стандарту интегральной фотографии). Зритель может и не перемещаться – в этом случае в каждый из его глаз будет попадать разное изображение, и стереоскопический эффект все равно будет достигнут. <br /><br />Установка позволяет настраивать изображение, не трогая камеру и дисплей. При помощи специального программного обеспечения можно изменить глубину отображаемой картинки или показать какую-то ее определенную область. Кроме того, TransCAIP, не требующая использования дополнительных аксессуаров, позволяет наблюдать параллакс как при перемещении зрителя по вертикали, так и по горизонтали. В отличие от этой системы, современные технологии могут предложить только одно из двух направлений. <br /><br />Перед тем как построить установку, ученые сомневались, что обработка 64 потоков и формирование из них 60 отдельных углов зрения можно осуществить в режиме реального времени, но TransCAIP доказала обратное. Теперь основной задачей исследователей является повышение четкости изображения, только после этого можно будет говорить о коммерциализации подобных систем. По словам ученых, в случае успеха дальнейших разработок первые коммерческие системы, подобные TransCAIP, могут появиться в через 5-10 лет. <br />
