Nvidia и Sony облегчат жизнь разработчикам игр для PS3

Американский поставщик графических решений Nvidia и японская Sony заключили лицензионное соглашение, в рамках которого разработчики игровых продуктов для PlayStation 3 получат бесплатный доступ к инструментальному набору PhysX SDK.

PhysX SDK позволяет сэкономить время и силы, отказавшись от написания собственного программного кода для обработки сложных физических взаимодействий в современных компьютерных играх. Данное соглашение должно сделать PS3 более привлекательной платформой для разработчиков и привести к большему числу интересных и увлекательных продуктов.

По словам официальных представителей Nvidia, технологией PhysX пользуются более 10 тыс. зарегистрированных пользователей, она присутствует в более чем 150 игровых продуктах на платформах PC, Nintendo Wii и Microsoft Xbox 360.
