Вместо стекла может использоваться прозрачный пластик. Листы из такого материала смогут заменить обычные оконные стекла. Днем они будут прозрачными, а вечером смогут излучать свет, освещая помещение, сообщает Tech Radar. <br /><br />По словам Ганса Дрессена (Hans Driessen) из Philips Research, до коммерческой реализации таких окон еще далеко. Производство больших OLED-панелей требует помещений с идеальной частотой. «Даже пылинка может испортить всю панель целиком», - говорит Дрессен. <br /><br />До того момента, пока инженерам ни удастся справиться с задачей производства больших панелей, может пройти еще несколько лет. Вероятно, по истечении этого срока Philips сможет приступить к массовому производству светодиодных стекол. <br /><br />Разработка осуществляется в рамках европейской партнерской программы OLED100. Ее задачей является создание эффективных OLED-продуктов. <br /><br />Среди целей этой программы также: достижение светового потока 100 лм в расчете на ватт потребляемой энергии, срока эксплуатации светодиодных продуктов более 100 тыс. часов, а также стоимости 1 кв. м панели в €100. <br />
