На первоначальном этапе здесь будут выпускаться телевизионные панели с диагональю 32, 47 и 55 дюймов. Размер заготовки составит 2200 x 2500 мм, сообщает DigiTimes. <br /><br />Инвестиции в оборудование составили $73,5 млрд (стоимость строительства зданий не входит в эту сумму). Текущая производственная мощность линии составляет 20 тыс. заготовок в месяц. Со временем емкость планируется увеличить и к концу 2009 г. достичь 83 тыс. заготовок в месяц. <br /><br />Новая площадка построена с использованием современных технологий и, как заявляют в компании, обладает высокой инвестиционной привлекательностью. Она позволит LG покрыть растущий спрос на ЖК-телевизоры. По данным аналитической фирмы DisplaySearch, в 2011 г. в мире будет продано 181 млн телевизоров на жидких кристаллах против 134 млн в 2009 г. <br />
