Он сказал, что компания до их пор «рассматривает» возможность выпуска компьютеров стоимостью менее $500. Между тем, по мнению наблюдателей, нетбук Apple, скорее всего, будет стоить порядка $600. Он будет дороже продуктов других вендоров, но сможет конкурировать с ними. <br /><br />За словами «рассматриваем» возможность и «мы будем следить за рынком» может скрываться гораздо больше, чем простой анализ. Вероятно, Apple уже конструирует нетбук, если уже не закончила это делать, предполагает Ars Technica. Компания вела себя так и раньше — сначала критиковала продукт, а потом приступала к его производству. В частности, так было с iPhone. <br /><br />Традиционно Apple предпочитает продавать продукты по более высоким ценам и иметь с каждой продажи более высокую маржу, чем делать акцент на объемы поставок в численном выражении.
