E-Vision на Среднем Востоке запускает первый в регионе полноценный HDTV-сервис

Принадлежащий Etisalat кабельный оператор E-Vision осуществляет запуск первого в регионе полноценного HDTV-сервиса. Хамаид Рашид Саху, представитель руководства E-vision, заявил об этом на выставке CabSat в Дубае. Тем не менее, Средний Восток, несмотря на все свое изобилие и тот энтузиазм, с которым приобретаются плоскопанельные телевизоры, пока еще медленно внедряет HDTV.

E-Vision в ее начинаниях поддерживает Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC), которая транслирует чемпионат по футболу местнoй премьер-лиги UAE в формате HD.

“Запуск HD-сервиса – значительная веха для нас. Это позволит нашим потребителям воспользоваться всеми преимуществами, предоставляемыми форматом HD, каковыми являются качество изображения и великолепный звук, - говорит Хамаид Рашид Саху. – Мы работаем над расширением базы нашего HD-контента”.
