В основном новые чипы будут предназначаться для сверхтонких ноутбуков, сообщает DigiTimes. <br /><br />Речь идет о моделях Core 2 Duo SU9600 (1,6 ГГц) и Core 2 Solo SU3500 (1,4 ГГц) по цене $289 и $262 за штуку в оптовой партии соответственно. Данные чипы пополнят существующую линейку низковольтовых процессоров (ULV), в которую входят такие представители как SU9400, SU9300, SU3300 и Celeron 723. Все из них могут быть объединены с чипсетом GS45 IGP. <br /><br />По сообщению источников в индустрии, Intel планирует разбить линейку на три группы – процессоры с одним ядром для компьютеров начального уровня (сюда войдут чипы Celeron), процессоры для систем среднего класса (Core 2 Solo) и двухъядерные ULV-процессоры (Core 2 Duo). <br />
