В завивисмости от варианта поставки, экран доступен в обычном (1024 x 576) или высоком разрешении (1366 x 768). Размер клавиш составляет 92% от номинального. Присутствует тачпэд. Имеется встроенный адаптер Wi-Fi и модуль Bluetooth 2.0 (последний – опционально). Встроенная веб-камера позволяет с легкостью делать фотоснимки и организовывать веб-конференции. Процессор: Intel Atom N270 (1,6 ГГц), объем ОЗУ – 1 или 2 ГБ. Предлагается либо жесткий диск емкостью до 160 ГБ, либо SSD емкостью 80 ГБ. Присутствует разъем Express Card/54. <br /><br />HP Mini 2140 оснащен прочным и легким корпусом, полностью выполненным из анодированного алюминия (в том числе крышка и дно компьютера), что позволяет защитить ноутбук при активной повседневной эксплуатации. Клавиши покрыты специальным слоем, защищающим нанесенные на них символы и знаки от повреждений и износа. Технология HP 3D DriveGuard, с трехкоординатным цифровым акселерометром, который дает команду для остановки дискового накопителя в случае резкого ускорения или удара. <br /><br />Среди новых аксессуаров для HP Mini 2140 представлена док-станция HP USB Docking Station, мобильная акустическая система с питанием по USB, опциональный оптический привод с интерфейсом USB, способный читать и записывать CD- и DVD-диски с поддержкой технологии HP LightScribe. <br /><br />Ожидается, что модель HP Mini 2140 поступит в розничную продажу в России в феврале 2009 г. по цене от 15,8 тыс. руб. без учета НДС.
