Имея возможность следить за действиями Nvidia, он узнал, что компания приступила к активным разработкам по поддержке иной операционной системы. Аналитик предполагает, что этой системой может стать мобильная версия Mac OS. <br /><br />Процессоры Nvidia Tegra предназначены для мобильных устройств под управлением Windows Mobile. Основным достоинством семейства является поддержка высокой четкости (720p или 1080p в зависимости от модели процессора). Все они основаны на архитектуре ARM, имеют тактовую частоту до 750 МГц и поддерживают кодек H.264, использующийся в продуктах Apple. В оригинальном iPhone стоит процессор Samsung S3C6400, который также поддерживает этот кодек. Компания обещала, что первый мобильник на Tegra выйдет в 2008 г., однако этого так и не произошло. <br /><br />Отметим, ранее Apple уже сделала выбор в пользу Nvidia – не так давно ноутбуки серии MacBook были переведены со встроенного графического решения Intel на Nvidia GeForce.
