Компания Epson объявлила о выпуске нового флагманского проектора для домашних кинотеатров, модели EH-TW5000 с поддержкой разрешения Full HD 1080p. Проектор основан на новых 3LCD-панелях D7 C2Fine с технологией Epson DeepBlack, имеет уровень контрастности 75000:1 и яркость 1600 лм.

Широкий диапазон проекционного расстояния, оптический зум 2.1, возможность горизонтального и вертикального смещения линзы делают Epson EH TW5000 удобным в установке. Epson EH TW5000 поддерживает формат киноэкрана 2,35:1 (анаморфный режим), что означает возможность просмотра фильмов без черных областей в верхней и нижней части. Встроенный процессор HQV обеспечивает 12-битную обработку видеосигнала и преобразование частоты в режиме 4-4.

Одновременно с Epson EH TW5000 компания Epson выпускает модель Epson EH-TW3800. Это более доступная версия HD-проектора с разрешением 1080р, которая имеет высокую яркость изображения 1800 лм и уровень контрастности 18000:1. Оба проектора оснащены широкими возможностями для подключения, в том числе двумя HDMI версии 1.3.

Проекторы Epson EH-TW5000 и EH-TW3800 будут доступны на российском рынке в феврале 2009 г. Рекомендованные цены составят 193 тыс. руб. и 131 тыс. руб. соответственно.
