<br />Ученые из компании Polyera, штат Иллинойс, совместно со своими коллегами из немецкой BASF разработали новый тип полупроводниковых чернил, которые, как ожидается, приблизят эру гибкой неломающейся электроники, сообщает Reuters. <br /><br />Большинство разработанных чернил относятся к P-типу, как, например, чернила, созданные компанией Xeron в 2004 г. Новые чернила относятся к полупроводникам N-типа, в которых основным типом носителей свободного заряда являются электроны (электронная проводимость). Это позволяет поднять скорость работы схемы, увеличить надежность и снизить потребление электрической энергии в отличие от полупроводников P-типа, в которых основными носителями заряда являются дырки, рассказывают в компании Polyera. <br /><br />По словам технического директора Polyera Антонио Фачетти (Antonio Facchetti), для того чтобы получить такие чернила, они использовали технику, схожую с той, которую применяют фармацевтические компании для исследования новых лекарственных препаратов. В результате этой работы инженерами была найдена новая молекула с подходящими для образования электронной проводимости свойствами. Их можно наносить на пластиковую пленку и даже на бумагу, используя при этом специальный струйный принтер. Это позволяет существенным образом экономить на капитальных затратах. Кроме того, делать гибкие чипы можно едва ли не в домашних условиях, выпуская небольшие партии продукции. По словам разработчиков, технология может использоваться для создания, прежде всего, RFID-чипов, применяемых в области логистики. <br /><br />«Пока мы находимся на раннем этапе развития этого способа производства чипов, однако в будущем половина электроники может выпускаться этим способом», - делится Филипп Инагаки (Philippe Inagaki), главный исполнительный директор Polyera. Разработки ведут и другие компании, однако коммерциализации данная технология пока не получила. <br />
