В американском интернет-магазине SonyStyle появилась, а затем исчезла страница с описанием новой серии ноутбуков Vaio – Vaio P («помещаются в карман»). До того, как страницу убрали, проворные журналисты успели сделать ее снимок, сообщает slashgear.com.

Судя из опубликованных на сайте характеристик, ноутбуки серии P обладают 8-дюймовым экраном с разрешением 1600 x 768 пикселей, оснащаются процессорами Intel с тактовой частотой 1,33 ГГц и могут поставляться с 32-битной операционной системой Windows Vista Home Basic или Home Premium. В роли накопителя может выступать как традиционный жесткий диск емкостью до 60 ГБ, так и флэш-память емкостью 128 ГБ.

Среди всех перечисленных параметров особое внимание вызывает разрешение дисплея, которое существенно больше, чем в современных нетбуках, даже тех, у которых 10-дюймовый дисплей. Ноутбук выпускается в корпусе красного, коричневого и черного цвета.

Вместо картинки Vaio P Series для общей наглядности использовалось изображение ноутбука серии Vaio TT.

Нет никакой информации о том, когда ноутбуки поступят в продажу и сколько будут стоить. Предполагается, что официальная презентация состоится 9 января на выставке Consumer Electronics Show в Лас-Вегасе.
