Первая модель серии – NEC MultiSync P221W. Комплектуется 22-дюймовой матрицей S-PVA, обеспечивающей коэффициент контрастности 1000:1, яркость 300 кд/кв. м, углы обзора 178 градусов и время отклика 6 мс. Монитор способен отображать 92% цветового пространства NTSC, что эквивалентно 16,7 млн цветов. Физическое разрешение панели составляет 1680 x 1050 пикселей. Устройство оснащается аналоговым разъемом D-Sub и двумя цифровыми DVI-D с поддержкой HDCP. <br /><br />Программируемая калибровка монитора на аппаратном уровне с 10-разрядной LUT-таблицей – отдельной для каждого канала RGB-сигнала – обеспечивает необходимую точность для приложений, нуждающихся в высоком качестве представления цвета. <br /><br />В плане эргономики монитор поддерживает регулировку по высоте в пределах 150 мм. Поддерживается разворот экрана в диапазоне 340 градусов, в том числе поворот на угол 90 градосов для работы в портретном режиме. Соответствие VESA позволяет использовать стандартные крепления, а наличие узкого обрамления экрана (15 мм) делает его подходящим выбором для мультимониторных решений. Энергопотребление данного ЖК-монитора составляет 62 Вт в рабочем режиме и всего 2 Вт в режиме ожидания. <br /><br />Первый монитор серии, модель MultiSync P221W, поступит в продажу в январе 2009 г. Возможные варианты оформления – полностью черный или белый с серебристым обрамлением экрана. <br />
