PlayStation 3 собирается реализовать поддержку 3D-стереоскопических очков в играх в 2009 году

В соответствии с информацией, полученной от Meant to be Seen, «единственная в мире технология 3D-стереоскопического изображения, владельцем которой является 3D Certification and Advocacy group» собирается «в полной мере» сотрудничать с Sony, результатом такого сотрудничества станет поддержка PS3 технологии стереоскопического 3D в следующем году. Что это означает? Это означает, что PS3 сможет обсчитывать картинку, которая будет отображаться в 3D, используя специальные очки. Такого рода технология, в основном, была разработана для кинотеатров, чтобы показывать 3D фильмы.

3D-стереоскопическая технология будет работать в двух направлениях: и в фильмах, и в играх, если верить информации от Meant to be Seen. Просто нужно будет закачать обновленное программное обеспечение – это все, что нужно будет сделать для того, чтобы это невероятная технология заработала на PlayStation 3. Такое обстоятельство подразумевает, что данное усовершенствование софта «скорее всего, будет эксклюзивным только для Sony», что, несомненно, поможет ей в конкурентной борьбе с другими консолями.
