Во-первых, корпус стал стальным, во-вторых, появилась тактильная отдача при работе с сенсорным дисплеем. Интерфейс выполнен в духе TouchWiz и позволяет пользователю размещать виджеты для записок, часов и другой информации на экране. Новые кнопки управления позволяют осуществлять более полный контроль за проигрыванием треков без необходимости обращения к меню. Есть поддержка Flash-приложений. Из форматов Samsung YP-P3 понимает видео в H.264, MPEG-4, WMV и аудио в AAC, FLAC, MP3, Ogg и WMA. Есть Bluetooth 2.1 и FM-тюнер. В продаже плеер появится в январе и будет доступен в версиях с 4, 8 и 16 ГБ памяти. Стоимость составит $180, $211 и $248 соответственно.
