HDBaseT снимает ограничения интерфейса HDMI и обеспечивает более дальнее соединение до 100 метров, используя при этом более дешевый кабель категории 5e/6. При этом поддерживаются все существующие и будущие схемы защиты контента. <br /><br />На международной выставке Consumer Electronics Show (CES), которая состоится 8-11 января 2009 года в Лас-Вегасе, Valens продемонстрирует технологию HDBaseT™ .
