На данный момент компания Digitenne (цифровая платформа эфирного ТВ) не готова к трансляции HD каналов. Две IPTV платформы, KPN и Tele2, также не готовы полностью к передаче HD потока. И только спутниковый оператор Canal Digitaal и кабельные операторы UPC и Ziggo имеют возможность работы с HD контентом.  <br />Напомним, что канал Nederland 1 уже проводил трансляции телевидения высокой четкости во время Евро 2008 и Олимпийских игр в Пекине. Трансляции велись оператором Canal Digitaal со спутника Astra 3.
