Канал будет транслироваться с орбитальной позиции 19.2, и будет входить в HD пакет платформы CanalSat. Кроме этого, MTV Networks International заявила, что до конца года канал MTVNHD появится также в Великобритании и Израиле. <br />С приходом MTVNHD количество HD каналов на спутниках Astra возросло до 58. К концу 2010 года SES ASTRA планирует передавать около 100 HD каналов. <br />Пакет HD каналов CanalSat уже сейчас включает в себя десять каналов: TF1 HD, France 2 HD, M6 HD, 13&#232;me Rue HD, National Geographic Channel HD, Cine Cinema Premier HD, Ushua&#239;a HD, Sci-Fi HD, Disney Cinemagic HD и Eurosport HD. MTVNHD станет в списке одиннадцатым.
