Основная ожидаемая проблема рынка — снижение потребительского спроса на электронику. По прогнозу iSuppli, выручка с продажи NAND-памяти сократится как по итогам этого года, так и в будущем году. <br /><br />В 2008 г. объем продаж микросхем флэш-памяти сократится на 14% до $12 млрд по сравнению с $13,9 млрд в прошлом году. В 2009 г. выручка снизится еще на 15%. Такие данные содержаться в новом скорректированном отчете iSuppli. Ранее в этой компании указывали на другие цифры: 3% снижение дохода в этом году и 12% в следующем. <br /><br />По словам экспертов, 2008 г. будет иметь для рынка NAND-памяти историческое значение. Впервые за все время существования этого типа флэш-памяти выручка с продажи микросхем в сравнении года к году сократится. Эта ситуация диаметральна положению вещей, наблюдавшемуся в конце 90-х и начале 2000-х годов, когда рынок увеличивался трехзначными темпами. Для сравнения, в недалеком 2005 г. выручка выросла на 62,2% по сравнению с 2004 г. В среднем на протяжении последних пяти лет ежегодный рост рынка составил 192%. <br /><br />Данный тип флэш-памяти в основном применяется в цифровой технике: портативных плеерах, сотовых телефонах, цифровых камерах, флэш-картах и так далее. Почти 80% всей производимой в мире NAND-памяти устанавливается именно в такие устройства. В связи со снижением спроса на электронику со стороны потребителей и сокращением объема поставщики микросхем вынуждены были прибегнуть к снижению цен. Ранее, в октябре представители американского поставщика полупроводников Micron Technology, комментируя убытки за минувший финансовый год в размере $1,6 млрд, признались, что отпускная стоимость микросхем NAND в результате событий оказалась ниже затрат на их производство. Причина: снижение спроса и перенасыщение складских запасов. <br /><br />«В отличие от других типов памяти, которые главным образом используются в продуктах, не рассчитанных на потребительский рынок, память NAND проседает под воздействием изменений, затронувших именно розничный сектор», — комментируют в iSuppli. «Помимо макроэкономических изменений существуют и другие факторы сокращения рынка. Существующие карты памяти имеют достаточную для пользователей емкость. В итоге, не имея лишних средств, покупатели воздерживаются от приобретения новых карт — они им просто не нужны». <br /><br />По итогам 2008 г. средняя отпускная стоимость 1 ГБ NAND-памяти снизится на 62% и еще на 50% — в будущем году. В основном из-за этого пострадают компании, которые вложили огромные средства в строительство новых линий. Однако конечные покупатели в этой ситуации останутся в выигрыше, так как смогут приобрести новые устройства по более низкой цене. <br />
