Эта технология представляет собой систему управления файлами и называется ExtremeFFS. <br />ExtremeFFS устраняет зависимость между физическим и логическим расположением информации на диске. Она записывает данные опираясь на эффективность их месторасположения при дальнейшей работе. Также ExtremeFFS при записи данных опирается на привычки пользователя и его манеру работы с файлами. <br /><br />Первые SSD-накопители на основе ExtremeFFS должны появиться в следующем году. Предполагается, что они будут работать в шесть раз быстрее, чем аналогичные накопители, не поддерживающие ExtremeFFS. Когда SanDisk намерена выпустить накопитель, работающий в сто раз быстрее современных аналогов, не сообщается.
