Во всех трех чипах используются ядра под кодовым названием Bloomfield и насчитывается по 731 млн транзисторов, размещенных на кремниевой пластине площадью 263 кв. мм. Стоимость процессоров составит $284, $562 и $999 соответственно. Цена указана за штуку в партии из 1000 чипов. Компания, однако, не сообщила, когда именно ждать начала поставок. Известно лишь краткое «позже в ноябре». <br /><br />Процессор 965 Extreme будет работать на частоте 3,2 ГГц и поддерживать оперативную память DDR3 1333 МГц. Процессоры Core i7 920 и 940 с тактовой частотой 2,66 и 2,93 ГГц будут поддерживать память DDR3 1066 МГц. <br />
