Рейн рассказал порталу Gamespot, что сделка Epic с Midway не касается лицензирования проектов, а является издательским соглашением, позволяющем Midway работать над «главным дополнением», которое в будущем «расширит и приумножит» клиентскую базу игры. Марк Рейн не раскрыл никаких деталей относительно этого дополнения, будет ли это самостоятельный проект, или же DLC(скачиваемый контент).<br /><br />Несмотря на то, что UT3 занимает место позади Gears of War во флагманской линейке Epic, Рейн отметил, что этот мультиплатформенный FPS продался по всему миру в количестве одного миллиона копий.
