К началу октября число HD каналов достигло 55 – это на 13 каналов больше, чем было в августе. SES group, которая включает в себя SES Astra, SES Americom и SES New Skies теперь ведет вещание 137 HD каналов. <br />С 55 HD каналами, передающихся с основных орбитальных позиций, Astra является наиболее значимой HD платформой в Европе. Основными ее провайдерами являются Sky, Великобритания; CanalSat, Франция; Premiere, Германия; Digital+, Испания; Viasat, Дания, Швеция, Норвегия и Финляндия; Canal Digitaal+, Голландия; TV Vlaanderen, Бельгия; а также SkyLink, Чехия и Словакия. <br />
