Корпорация Sharp представила в Японии новую серию ЖК-телевизоров Sharp Aquos DX со встроенными приводами Blu-ray с возможностью записи. Купив телевизор серии DX, пользователи смогут записывать на лазерные диски формата Blu-ray фильмы с разрешением HD и телевизионные передачи. Телевизор, однако, не имеет встроенного жесткого диска – особенность, популярная в Японии. Встроенный привод, кроме того, поддерживает просмотр фильмов с Blu-ray, DVD- и CD-дисков.

Серия включает модели телевизоров с длиной диагонали экрана от 26 до 52 дюймов стоимостью от $1690 до $4970 соответственно. "Мы уже давно планировали выпустить такой продукт, потратили на его разработку немало времени, и теперь телевизоры готовы – прямо к началу праздничного сезона", - передает слова президента и главного операционного директора Sharp Микио Катаяма (Mikio Katayama) издание Tech On!. "В отличие от премиум-моделей (на завершившейся две недели назад выставке CEATEC в Японии компания продемонстрировала 52- и 65-дюймовые ТВ толщиной 22,8 мм – прим. CNews), в новой серии мы предлагаем популярные диагонали 26 и 32 дюйма, а также 42- и 52-дюймовые модели, которые подойдут для гостиной, - продолжает Катаяма. – Мы надеемся, что эти ТВ станут нашим основным продуктом в праздничный сезон".

Каждый встроенный Blu-ray-привод собирается компанией самостоятельно на основе своих же компонентов. Кроме того, и панель, и тюнер, и оптический привод – все подсоединено к одному блоку питания. В результате издержки на изготовление телевизора были сокращены максимальным образом, говорят в Sharp.

В каждый из телевизоров установлен процессор, разработанный совместно с ViXS Systems (Канада). Он поддерживает форматы MPEG-2 и MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 и позволяет сжимать видеосигнал высокой четкости и записывать на двухслойный 50-ГБ диск Blu-ray в 5 раз больше информации. Так, на один BD может вместиться запись длительностью 21 час 40 минут со скоростью потока 4,8 Мбит/с.

Панели с длиной диагонали от 37 до 52 дюймов имеют физическое разрешение 1920 x 1080 точек (Full HD). Динамическая подсветка у этих панелей анализирует гистограмму яркости входящего сигнала и выставляет соответствующий уровень светового потока. В результате контрастность достигает 15000:1. Статическая контрастность составляет 2000:1. Модели с диагональю 26 и 32 дюйма имеют разрешение 1366 x 768 пикселей и максимальную контрастность 7000:1. Телевизоры способны отображать по 1024 цветовых оттенка на каждый из RGB-каналов и выводить изображение со скоростью до 120 кадров в секунду.

Продажи новой линейки телевизоров стартуют в Японии 20 ноября этого года. В США телевизоры Sharp со встроенным пишущим Blu-ray-приводом планируется выпустить в продажу в конце 2008 г., а в Европе и в Азии – в 2009 г.
