Как мы умудрились пропустить именно этот проект, до сих пор непонятно – можем только предположить, что игра просто не попадала в поле нашего зрения. Итак, в течение нашей недавней поездки в Остин(Austin) на конференцию разработчиков игр(Game Developer's Conference), мы все-таки нашли время остановиться у Vigil Games и достаточно глубоко рассмотреть их дебютный проект и вот уже двухлетний труд. Спасибо им за то, что не затаили на нас обиду, по поводу нашего непосещения их стенда на Е3, и были очень любезны, предоставив нам большое количество времени для общения с игрой и ее дизайнерами.<br /><br />Художник коцепт-артов Joe Madureira, он же основатель компании Vigil Games и главный дизайнер Hadyn Dalton просидели с нами два часа, показывая нам игру и некоторые уровни, которые еще не были представлены публике. Под наш контроль попадает персонаж под именем War, и игрокам предстоит сражаться с врагами, решать хитроумные задачи, и даже оседлать здоровенного, боевого коня под именем Ruin для быстрого передвижения. <br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/2008-10/1223023942_darksidersruin.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Сайт Joystiq пообщался с создателями нового, многообещающего слэшера Darksiders: Wrath of War' title='Сайт Joystiq пообщался с создателями нового, многообещающего слэшера Darksiders: Wrath of War' /></div><br />Персонаж War – это один из четырех всадников апокалипсиса, оставшихся трех звать так: Fury, Strife, и Death. Разработчики обещают разнообразный геймплей, сильную боевую систему с комбо ударами, разными орудиями смертоубийства и возможностью драться верхом на лошади, со всеми отсюда вытекающими(например будет возможность приземлиться в седло, прыгнув с высокого здания и т.д.). По механике игра будет чем-то похожа на Devil May Cry и God of War. Так, например местная валюта будет в виде душ поверженных врагов. Что касается головоломок, разработчики говорят, что это будет разнообразить геймплей, а сами головоломки будут в стиле таких игр, как  Metroid и Zelda, за выполнение которых игрок будет награждаться новыми видами оружия. Что касается верного коня, он будет обладать собственными атаками, также можно будет вести стрельбу из седла, и вообще намного более мощный и надежный товарищ, чем щеночек из  Fable 2. По словам разработчиков, продолжительность игры будет более 15 часов.<br /><br />Советуем вам обратить внимание на эту игру, релиз запланирован на 2009 год для платформ  Sony PlayStation 3 и Microsoft Xbox 360.<br />
