В последнее время появление новинок на рынке ЖК-дисплеев и матриц для ноутбуков стало привычным явлением. На этом фоне не удивляет выпуск Dell не 22- и не 24-, а именно 23-дюймового монитора S2309W.

В своих характеристиках он является практически полным аналогом S2409W, выпущенного немногим ранее: всё то же соотношение сторон 16:9, разрешение 1920 х 1080 пикселей, матрица TN-film с 5-мс временем отклика, яркостью 300 нит, контрастностью 1000:1 и углами обзора в 170/160 градусов.

Существенным отличием помимо уменьшившейся на дюйм диагонали является отсутствие входа HDMI. У новинки есть лишь входы D-Sub и VGA.

В целом, если тенденция продолжится, то через несколько месяцев шаг диагонали ЖК-мониторов приблизится к полудюйму в диапазоне от 15 до 30 дюймов. Но нужно ли нам такое разнообразие?
