ЖК-телевизоров, в то время как в следующем году спрос на них увеличится до 120-130 млн. единиц, считает Джейсон Хсуань (Jason Hsuan), председатель и исполнительный директор TPV Technology. <br /><br />Он также рассказал об объемах дистрибуции телевизоров своей компании. Так, TPV пришлось снизить прогноз объема продаж ЖК-ТВ в 2008 г. с 7 млн. до 5 млн. единиц в связи со снижением количества заказов на их продукцию на североамериканском рынке. Тем не менее, продажи ЖК-телевизоров, производством которых занимается TPV, в I половине 2008 г. увеличились по сравнению с аналогичным периодом годом ранее на 68%. Всего за этот период было продано 2,1 млн. телевизоров на жидких кристаллах. Средняя отпускная цена снизилась с $473,5 в 2007 г. до $399,1 в нынешнем. <br /><br />По данным аналитиков iSuppli, к 2012 г. ежегодные продажи ЖК-телевизоров в мире достигнут значения в 193,9 млн. единиц. <br />
