Компания Epson объявила о выпуске 50-миллионной высокотемпературной поликремневой (HTPS) ЖК-панели для проекторов на основе технологии 3LCD.

ЖК-панели Epson разрабатываются для собственных проекторов, а также поставляются другим производителям – более 90% 3LCD-проекторов в мире используют панели этой компании. Epson занимает первое место на мировом рынке проекторов (по данным за 2007 г.), а также является ведущим поставщиком HTPS-панелей – с момента запуска первого в мире массового производства 1,3-дюймовых VGA-панелей в 1994 г.

Epson заботится о постоянном технологическом совершенствовании 3LCD-технологии: панели последнего поколения D7 обеспечивают увеличенную светосилу для большей яркости проекторов, а технология гибридного привода и 12-битный ЖК-драйвер обеспечивают плавность и четкость отображения видеоконтента.
