Сейчас он заговорил снова, на этот раз на тему сохранений, так называемых чекпоинтов. Несомненно что они будут присутствовать в Heavy Rain, но создатели(Quantic Dream) пытаются сделать так, чтобы мы не хотели ими пользоваться. «Да, конечно будет такая возможность для игроков переиграть тот или иной момент столько раз сколько они захотят и с того места, откуда они захотят, но нам бы больше хотелось подтолкнуть игроков не делать этого – а продолжать играть в свой сюжет с той же манерой поведения, наблюдая при этом последствия своих действий.»<br /><br />Далее Cage объясняет почему лучше избегать чекпоинты тем, что тогда у вас получится уникальная история, свой сюжет. Для нас Heavy Rain звучит все больше и больше как современная книга приключений, где каждый делает свой выбор – что выберут наши дорогие читатели, подумайте над этим? Означает ли это, что эта игра будет более динамичной с возросшей ценностью на возможность переиграть или это будет реализовано как хитроумный трюк? Пока неизвестно.<br />
