Kitase дал информацию о стадии разработки, отметив что некоторые аспекты FF13 почти готовы. «Сценарий почти закончен, и актерская часть завершена где-то на 80%,» сказал Kitase. Множество работ уже на стадии завершения, но еще остались некоторые вещи для доработки.<br /><br />Также журналисты поинтересовались, как скажется мультиплатформенность проекта на финальном качестве.  <br />Kitase быстро повторил то, что Yoichi Wada сказал на прошлой E3: «наша команда специализирует игру под PS3, поэтому игра будет наиболее адаптирована именно под эту консоль, и только потом мы портируем ее на Xbox 360, c учетом возможностей этой консоли». Это означает, что потери качества не будет.<br />
