Codemasters сообщила, что новые гоночные автомобили будут добавлены в стартовую линейку Race Driver: GRID в этом году. Игра получит новый DLC pack, названный "8-Ball" уже этой осенью. Это дополнение добавит два новых мультиплеер режима и восемь новых автомобилей, включая такие марки как McLaren F1 GTR, Honda S2000 и 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM. Ну а пока 8-Ball будет готовиться к выходу на Xbox 360 и PS3, обладатели Xbox получат бонусы в виде дополнительных четырех Achievements и дополнительных 100 Gamerpoints для заработка, а поклонникам PS3 придется довольствоваться тем, что было.

Другой релиз, подготовленный Codemasters, ожидается в ближайшие месяцы. Он добавит категорию автомобилей V8 Supercars и новую трассу Australian Bathurst. В данный момент разработчики ничего не говорят о ценах обоих дополнений и не называют конкретную дату релизов, сказав только то, что первое дополнение выйдет этой осенью для консолей. Что касается PC игроков, они могут ожидать новостей в ближайшее время.
