EOS 5D. Новинка оборудована 21,1-МП CMOS-матрицей с физическим размером 24 x 36 мм и является второй цифровой камерой после Nikon D90 с возможностью видеосъемки. При этом 5D Mark II поддерживает запись с разрешением Full HD 1920 x 1080 пикселей со скоростью 30 кадров в секунду, в то время как модель от Nikon — только 1280 x 720 пикселей. Максимальная длительность ролика — 30 минут. Камера поддерживает серийную съемку со скоростью 3,9 кадра в секунду в полном разрешении в формате JPEG в течение неограниченного времени (пока не заполнится карта) или может сохранять 14 последовательных снимков в формате RAW за один присест при использовании карт памяти UDMA CF. Камера обладает значительно лучшим ЖК-дисплеем: его размер составляет 3 дюйма против 2,5 в предыдущей модели, и он имеет вчетверо большее разрешение, равное 920 тыс. пикселей. Максимальная чувствительность ISO может достигать 25600. Модель появится в продаже в ноябре по цене $2700 без объектива. Комплект с объективом будет стоить $3500.
