LG будет осваивать солнечную энергию

Производитель бытовой электронной техники LG Electronics и Conergy AG, лидер в производстве энергии из солнечного света, объявили о подписании договора о намерениях создать совместное предприятие для производства фотоэлектрических модулей.

Согласно договоренности LG приобретет 75-процентный пакет акций завода Conergy по производству фотоэлектрических модулей во Франкфурте-на-Одере. Conergy сохранит оставшиеся 25%. В настоящее время завод увеличивает объем выпуска своей продукции. LG и Conergy планируют запустить свое совместное предприятие к концу года.

Вкладом LG в общее дело станет ее богатый опыт в области НИОКР, в том числе разработка ею различных фотогальванических технологий, которой она занималась в течение нескольких лет. LG также собирается использовать свои знания и опыт массового производства дисплеев с плоским экраном, являющихся схожими продуктами с фотоэлектрическими системами.

В ноябре 2006 г. Conergy начала строительство своего завода во Франкфурте-на-Одере, который считается одним из самых передовых в своей области. Штат его сотрудников насчитывает свыше 400 человек.
