Новинка доступна в черном, серебряном и красном цветовом решении. <br /><br />Фотокамера Cyber-shot T500 делает снимки разрешения 10,1 эффективных мегапикселей и снимает видеоролики формата High Definition со стереозвуком. Файлы записываются в кодировке MPEG4 AVC/H.264, что обеспечивает удобство хранения, передачи и просмотра снятого на Cyber-shot T500 видео на web ресурсах и посредством e-mail. <br /><br />В процессе съемки можно мгновенно переключаться между фото- и видеорежимом простым нажатием кнопки, а также делать снимки разрешением 1280x720 пикселей, не прерывая процесс видеозаписи. <br /><br />Новинка оснащена объективом Carl Zeiss с кольцевой кнопкой для регулировки зума и широкоформатным 3,5-дюймовым сенсорным ЖК-экраном. При касании любой точки сенсорного экрана во время наведения фотоаппарат автоматически фиксируется в выбранной части сцены. <br /><br />При касании лица на сенсорном экране включается функция распознавания лиц Face Detection, которая выставляет оптимальные параметры фокусировки и экспозиции.
