В результате операции были конфискованы телевизоры производства корейской компании Hyundai прямо с ее выставочного стенда в присутствии посетителей и прессы, сообщает Reuters. <br /><br />По данным немецких властей, Hyundai и другие восточноазиатские и европейские производители электроники демонстрируют на выставке IFA продукцию, которая была изготовлена с нарушением патентных прав. Именно по этой причине в минувший четверг, 28 августа, немецкий суд санкционировал в общей сложности 69 рейдов на различные компании. <br /><br />Очевидцем конфискации телевизоров Hyundai стал один из репортеров Reuters. По его словам, рейд был совершен прямо в разгаре рабочего дня, на глазах у многочисленных посетителей. Работники таможни подошли к телевизорам, отсоединили подключенные к ним кабели и забрали их с собой. «Представители Hyundai имели сегодня возможность предоставить нам сертификаты [на используемые технологии]. В этом случае мы бы ушли, — рассказывает пресс-секретарь таможенного управления в Берлине Норберт Шейдхолер (Norbert Scheidhauler). — Однако они этого не сделали, и мы забрали устройства». И это не единичный случай. Всего к настоящему моменту на выставке IFA было конфисковано 170 телевизоров, 140 MP3-плееров, 21 мобильный телефон и 57 DVD-рекордеров.<br /><br />«В этом году наша таможня совершила самую крупную операцию за всю историю», — сообщил Шейдхолер. Однако, назвать имена компаний, чью технику также конфисковала полиция, он отказался. <br /><br />В Германии интеллектуальная собственность является объектом экспорта, от которого зависит благополучие экономики, поэтому власти относятся к нарушению патентов очень остро. Аналогичные рейды, но меньшие по масштабам, были проведены на других выставках, включая CeBIT. Там в марте 2008 г. полиция изъяла экспозиционные материалы и рекламную литературу китайской компании Meizu, выпускающей клоны Apple iPhone.<br /><br />По словам Шейдхолера, Hyundai может попытаться вернуть конфискованное имущество через суд. <br /><br />IFA является крупнейшей выставкой потребительской электроники в Европе.
