Производитель намерен усилить свои позиции на данном рынке. К 2010 году компания планирует увеличить совокупный объем продаж телевизоров на 30%, доведя его до 20 млрд долларов. <br /><br />Выступая на пресс-конференции, Саймон Кэнг, руководитель LG Electronics Digital Display Company, отметил, что конкуренция на рынке плоскоэкранных телевизоров обострилась. По его словам, нацеленная на конкретные регионы маркетинговая активность должна способствовать формированию более четкого представления о бренде и продуктах LG. <br /><br />LG собирается потратить 500 млн долларов на продвижение бренда и продукции. Маркетинговая деятельность компании будет ориентирована, главным образом, на страны Северной и Южной Америки, Европы, Ближнего Востока и Африки. В сфере интересов LG также значатся Китай и страны СНГ. Корейский вендор планирует укрепить партнерские отношения с ведущими дистрибьюторами и внести корретивы в свою маркетинговую политику на развитых рынках. <br /><br />Кроме того, в LG рассчитывают увеличить отдачу от инвестиций. Достигаться это будет посредством аутсорсинга и применения инновационных технологий производства, а также за счет внедрения продвинутой системы управления логистической цепочкой. <br />
