По словам разработчиков, в будущем пользователю мобильного устройства не нужно будет подключать его к электрической сети. Для того чтобы его зарядить, устройство достаточно будет положить на стол. <br /><br />На завершившейся в Сан-Франциско конференции Intel Developer Forum (IDF) представители крупнейшего в мире производителя чипов продемонстрировали установку, способную передавать до 60 Вт электрической энергии по воздуху на расстояние 60–90 см. На принимающем конце была установлена электрическая лампочка мощностью 60 Вт. При этом в процессе передачи энергии потери составляют всего 25%. «Подобная технология может быть интегрирована в письменные столы и другие рабочие поверхности, — рассказывает главный технический директор Intel Джастин Раттнер (Justin Rattner). — Устройство, расположенное на таком столе, начнет заряжаться немедленно». <br /><br />Впервые передача электроэнергии по воздуху была осуществлена учеными из Массачусетского технологического института (MIT), однако эффективность их установки составила всего 50%. В основе разработки лежит принцип резонирующей электромагнитной индукции. О том, когда подобные разработки поступят в коммерческое производство, не сообщалось. <br /><br />Тем временем, некоторые компании уже продают беспроводные док-станции, однако электромагнитная индукция в них не используется, и они менее удобны, так как требуют использования специальных адаптеров. <br /><br />
