Появилась информация относительно беспроводного решения использования Sony Bravia Internet Link. Устройство, первая информация о котором появилась в рамках выставки CES, использует технологию WHDI и может работать вместе с телевизорами Sony, оборудованными Digital Media Extender.
Sony готова представить продукт на основе технологии WHDI

По словам источника, устройство дебютирует на выставке IFA в Берлине , а цена будет варьироваться в диапазоне $350 - $500. К сожалению, по информации того же источника, устройство сможет передавать картинку в разрешении 1080i и только в радиусе 1.5 м, что несколько меньше ранее заявленных 60 метров.
Будем держать в курсе событий, возможно со временем, Sony сможет увеличить радиус вещания DMX-WL1T до более внушительного уровня.
