Цены на плазму 32" упали до минимума

Цены на 32-дюймовые панели опустились до убыточного уровня в результате того, что продавцы стремились составить конкуренцию снижающимся в цене LCD телевизорам.

В мае 2008 года цена на 32-дюймовые LCD телевизоры составляла US$320, что заставило поставщиков PDP телевизоров опустить цены на 32-дюймовые модели до US$280-290, чтобы остаться на конкурентном уровне.

В настоящее время цена на 32-дюймовые LCD телевизоры составляет US$290, в то время как плазменные модели продаются за US$220. При этом уровне цен поставщики практически не получают прибыли от продаж.

Ожидается, что в ближайшее время цены опустятся еще ниже. По словам источников рынка, остается выяснить, выйдет ли компания LG Electronics (LGE), основной поставщик 32-дюймовых плазменных панелей, из 32-дюймового сектора, если цены продолжат снижаться.

Amtran Technology, которая производит 32-дюймовые плазменные телевизоры под маркой Vizio, заявила, что 32-дюймовые PDP все еще способны конкурировать с LCD по параметру цены. По словам компании, 32-дюймая плазма будет присутствовать на рынке, по крайней мере, до конца 2008 года.
