Компания Epson сообщила, что ею был разработан 3D LCD экран с высоким разрешением, позволяющий видеть стерео изображение без специальных очков. К сожалению, пока неизвестно, когда прототип достигнет полок магазинов.

Epson говорит, что обычные 3D экраны имеют достаточно низкое разрешение и слишком требовательны к углу просмотра и расстоянию от глаз до экрана. Технология же Epson позволяет повысить не только разрешение, но и расширить ширину видения стереоизображение до 30—32,5 см.
Новая LCD-технология Epson — стерео-изображение без специальных очков

Наилучший стереоэффект на 3D LCD экране от Epson достигается на расстоянии около 45 см, а разрешение экрана прототипа составляет 1024×768 пикселей.
