Активность, с которой компания SI продвигает эти экраны, позволяет предположить, что они могут стать очень популярными в домашних кинотеатрах.<br /><br />Аарон Рейлли, главный технический директор компании SI, утверждает что экран является уникально контрастным, и покупателям проекторов совершенно незачем больше заботиться о контрастности проектора. <br /><br />Главными особенностями экранов Black Diamond можно назвать следующие: <br />•необычный черный цвет полотна, принципиально меняющий возможности дизайнерских решений для домашних кинотеатров <br />•в освещенном помещении экран позволяет получить принципиально более яркое изображение <br />•в затемненном помещении экран не подсвечивает стены, что обычно принципиально ухудшает "эффект присутствия", и снижает контрастность изображения в целом.
