Несмотря на то, что второе полугодие, по традиции, является пиковым сезоном, снижающиеся цены позволят повысить уровень спроса еще больше.<br /><br />В настоящее время спрос на телевизоры довольно высок. Например, на американском рынке рост составил 22% по сравнению с прошлым годом, в то время как в Европе продажи LCD TV были стабильными. Для стран третьего мира падение цен на ЖК-телевизоры принесло немалую выгоду.<br /><br />Вместе с тем, снижение цен может повлиять на долю мирового рынка некоторых компаний. Например, снижение цен на телевизоры от Sony и Samsung Electronics ослабило позиции на рынке таких компаний как Philips и LG Electronics.
