Canon снова возьмется за SED-дисплеи

В прошлом году компания Canon прекратила разработку SED дисплеев в связи с обвинением в нарушении лицензионного соглашения с компанией Nano-Proprietary (название было изменено на Applied Nanotech Holdings) в ходе организации совместного предприятия с компанией Toshiba и приобретения акций Toshiba, SED Inc. Однако по решению суда, все обвинения с компании были сняты, поскольку Canon была признана единственным владельцем Toshiba, SED Inc.

Суд также возобновил лицензию Canon на разработку технологий SED, однако поскольку с тех пор как компания прекратила все разработки прошло немало времени, всем ожидающим появления новых SED моделей на рынке придется немного подождать.
