Стоимость процессора с частотой 2,93 ГГц составит $562, более мощного - $999. Цены справедливы для оптовой партии. Наиболее мощный Bloomfield поступит в продажу под маркировкой Extreme. <br /><br />Все процессоры Nehalem потребуют использования новых материнских плат. Процессоры задействуют новую шину QuickPath Interconnect (QPI) и будут размещаться в 1336-контактных слотах. В настоящее время известен только один чипсет для процессоров Nehalem, который именуется как X58. Работа над ним еще не закончена. <br /><br />Напомним, что Nehalem – это следующая микроархитектура, которая придет на смену Core. Запуск процессоров Nehalem ожидается в конце 2008 г. <br /><br />
